CDD's mission is to develop and implement creative community-based strategies to enhance economic opportunity, build strong neighborhoods, and ensure a dynamic framework for quality growth and development.

Responsibilities
CDD's role is to develop and implement programs to support the City's General Plan. Through sustainable development, high-quality design, and the promotion of livable and equitable housing, CDD helps make the City of Dos Palos a destination to live, work and play.

Planning and Land Use
Provide answers to questions relating to land use and property development standards and regulations. We provide solution-focused customer service and support economic development opportunities. Review land-use entitlement applications in conformance with the City's General Plan and Zoning Ordinance.

Building Permits
Provide information and respond to queries on building code requirements and statute. Process building permit applications and review plans.

Business Licenses
Administration of the City's Business License Program

Agency Support
Determine land-use related violations and resolve issues in collaboration with Code Enforcement.
